Q: A personalized cookie cutter!? How genius! How did you come up with this idea?
A: The idea really was for sports. I played sports in college and I was joking around with my college coach about making our team into cookies and selling them on campus. How fun it would be to do something like that and it really would be original, raise money for our team and help people on campus get to know us. Then I just took it and ran with it!
Q: Can you really make a cookie cutter for anyone? Have you made any celebrity cookies?
A: I can! I have made Ryan Seacrest, Ellen K for 101.3, I have made Oprah & Gayle, I have made Sarah Palin, Barack Obama, John McCain, Joe Biden and many more! I just made Jermaine Dye the 2005 World Series MVP into a cookie for his retirement party.
Q: Describe this process and how you make them.
A: We take a photo,
sketch out a rough draft and send it to the customer. Once the customer approves the artwork we then take the picture and make a press. We have a workstation that stamps out the cookies, sends them into the oven and we pull them out at the end! It is an automated process and that is the reason for the practically nothing set-up.
Q: What have been some of the responses from your customers?
A: They LOVE them!! The hardest part is letting people know that these little wonders are out there, but we have NEVER had a disappointed customer especially considering they see the design ahead of time. People truly get a kick out of seeing their cookie and it really is a hoot. SUPER unique and ALWAYS the hit of the party.
