A: Lodge manufacturing is the sole domestic producer of foundry seasoned cast
iron cookware, and the oldest family-owned cookware company in the country.
Our founder, Joseph Lodge, began the company in 1896.
Q: What are your best selling products?
A: Our 10 1/4 and 12 inch skillets, 5-qt Dutch Oven, Reversible Griddle and
Square Grill Pan.
Q: How is it made?
A: Foundry seasoned cast iron cookware is made with sand molds, and then seasoned
with vegetable oil that is baked on.
Q: Why manufacture in America?
A: We have been running out foundry here since 1896. Maintaining our domestic
production is very important to our community, South Pittsburg, TN and the
