Q: Describe your company.
A: Our Company makes high quality waterproof outdoor blankets / picnic blankets / stadium blankets. Our blankets fold and zip to become their own tote bag, allowing people to take them anywhere or store one neatly in their car.
Q: How long have you been in operation?
A: We started our company back in 2007 and went live with our site in November 2008, right after the stock market crashed in fall of 2008. We weren’t really sure what would happen but have been able to expand our business within these past several years to corporate customers wanting a unique and useful product that with their embroidered logo.
Q: What are your best selling products?
A: We have one design with about 12 different fleece designs/colors.
Q: Describe how it is made.
A: A lot of materials go
into the blankets: fleece, nylon, webbing, trim, zippers, inside zipper pocket, Velcro flap for the front part of the blanket to cover the pocket when it is a bag, and labels. They are very labor intensive because of the sheer size of the blanket and sewing of the zipper of the blanket.
Q: Why manufacture in America?
A: It was difficult to find a manufacturer that would make our blankets at an affordable price since most overseas factories required large orders. Manufacturing overseas was just not going to be an option. We wanted to offer a variety of choices and wanted to make sure that each blanket was of made with quality materials. Our American manufacturer has been great.
Q: Where are you located?
A: We make our blankets in Indiana, but our corporate office is in Hayden, Idaho.
Q: Favorite customer review?
A:“My wife and I go to many athletic events. Grade school through College our grandchildren cover them all. Last year the weather was bad for the entire football season here in northern Illinois. We sat through many cold and rainy football games.
My wife has many lung infections each year and has developed fibrosis. Despite this she is intent on being out in the weather for each and every game despite my advice to the contrary. In my attempt to see to it that she has a fighting chance to stay dry and warm I searched for a waterproof and warm bleacher blanket. I found yours and bought two.
I am not one to rave about much but I had to take the time to tell you that your Zip-n-go is everything you say it is and more. She actually loves it and after using 4 and 5 blankets at a time has now just one that does the job of several.” –Bob A.
